Welcome to Carlocao.com and thank you so much for being here.
I'm the cook, recipe developer, food photographer, and content creator behind this blog. When I'm not developing recipes for this blog I work as a chef at Cortinella Alpine Hideaway, our retreat house in the Swiss mountains.
I've been cooking plant-based since 2017, for two main reasons: my love for animals and for the Earth in which we live on. With my cooking skills, it is my goal to create the best possible vegan recipes for you to enjoy.
As you'll see, many of my recipes are strongly influenced by the Italian Cuisine. In fact, I grew up in a Swiss village in Val Poschiavo, on the border with Italy. I hope you'll find lots of inspiration browsing through my recipes, they all contain a piece of me and I can assure you that each one was created with love and passion.
