Once you have the vegan shredded chicken you can make the marinade. All you need to make it are 6 ingredients: salt, smoked paprika, sweet curry powder, maple syrup, oil and rosemary.
How to make the Marinade
Making the marinade is the easiest thing EVER! You just need to put all the spices into a large bowl and mix until smooth.
Marinating the vegan Shredded Chicken
Once the marinade is ready you pour it over the vegan shredded chicken and mix until every single piece of "chicken" is coated in marinade. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
How to assemble the vegan kabobs
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water while the vegan shredded chicken is marinating. Once marinated skewer the vegan shredded chicken, evenly divided between 4 kabobs.
How to store the Kabobs
You can freeze the kabobs in an airtight container and thaw them whenever you feel like grilling. Or you can also store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Cooking
Grease the grill and heat over medium heat. Then place the kabobs on the hot grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning once or twice during cooking. Serve hot.
Can I Cook the kabobs in the Oven?
Grilling will give you the best smoky flavor but of course you can bake them on a baking tray lined with baking paper for about 15 minutes at 200 °C (360 °F).
