Vegan Cheese Fondue

"My husband could not believe this fondue was vegan! It tastes like traditional fondue and the consistency is out of this world! I'll definitely make it again."

Ingredients

– cashews – nutritional yeast – probiotic cultures – potatoes – soy milk – tapioca starch – paprika powder – white wine vinegar – white wine – cloves of garlic – salt and pepper – bread

Blend

01

Blend cashews together with nutritional yeast, water and salt until perfectly smooth. Allow the mixture to cool briefly, then add probiotic cultures and mix shortly.

Allow the cheese to ferment

02

Place mixture in a clean glass bowl, cover with plastic wrap and allow to ferment at room temperature for 24 hours.

Pour in wine and tomato puree

03

The next day, boil potatoes, then put into a blender along with the remaining ingredients and the fermented cashew cheese. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Simmer until thick and cooked

04

Pour the mixture into a caquelon and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat.

Serve it right away

05

Season the fondue with salt and pepper and serve immediately with bread cubes or other desired side dishes.
