A good bolognese sauce has to be made with great ingredients and cooked for at least 1 hour (or 2!). The long cooking will make the sauce extra flavorful & delish!
The bechamel sauce has to be creamy, full of flavor and has to have the right consistency. If you use dry pasta sheets let it be runny, If you pre-cook the sheets make it thicker.
When it comes to vegan cheese I urge you to stay away from coconut oil based cheese. Get a cashew based mozzarella and it'll be a sucess.
Homemade pasta sheets are the best. The consistency & flavor is just on another level and you can play with the thickness!
It might sound silly but if you don't have the time to make them, buy handmade ones. This will make the lasagne extra delicious!
To make the outside slightly crispy bake the lasagne at 200 °C (400 °F) for at least 40 minutes. When the outside is golden, they are ready to be served!
