Hi everyone! Thank you for clicking, this blog post will teach you how to make pumpkin puree. Let's get it started!
Step 1: Cut
Halve the pumpkin to one side of the stem (I used a Kabocha Squash).
Step 2: Bake
Scoop out the seeds, place the halves cut-side-down onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake for +- 45 minutes or until the flesh is soft.
Step 3: Process
Scoop out the flesh into a food-processor and process until you get a creamy puree.
Step 4: Store
You can store pumpkin puree in the refrigerator or freezer. If you store it in the fridge place it in a glass or plastic container with a tight fitting lid and use within 5-7 days. If you store it in the freezer put it in freezer bags and freeze for 3-6 months.
